There are a variety of different spending categories in The Sims 4, including:
- Bills: These are the monthly bills that your Sim has to pay, such as rent, utilities, and taxes.
- Food: This is the money that your Sim spends on food, such as groceries and dining out.
- Clothing: This is the money that your Sim spends on clothing, such as new outfits and accessories.
- Fun: This is the money that your Sim spends on activities that they enjoy, such as going to the movies, playing video games, or going out to eat.
- Education: This is the money that your Sim spends on education, such as going to college or taking classes.
- Medical: This is the money that your Sim spends on medical care, such as going to the doctor or dentist.
- Charity: This is the money that your Sim donates to charity.
- Savings: This is the money that your Sim saves for the future, such as for a down payment on a house or retirement.
- Other: This is any other money that your Sim spends, such as on gifts, vacations, or unexpected expenses.
The amount of money that your Sim spends in each category will vary depending on their lifestyle and needs. For example, a Sim who lives in a large house with a lot of children will likely spend more on bills and food than a Sim who lives in a small apartment alone.
You can track your Sim’s spending by going to the Money tab in the Simology panel. This tab will show you a breakdown of your Sim’s spending for the current week. You can also use the Budget tool to set limits on your Sim’s spending. This can help you to avoid overspending and to save money for the future.
